Please find a memo that I have just received from Maree Kelly of
Northern Surf.
As stated the carnival will not start until midday Saturday at the
earliest. This is unfortunate but we have to go with what has been
decided.
I will put out and email tomorrow morning between 7-8am once I have been
notified on what is happening.
Please pass this email on to others so we can inform as many people as
possible.

Good Morning
 
The UP&GO Junior Surf Championships to be held at Orewa Beach Saturday
23rd February and Sunday 24th February are currently on hold.
 
Based on the current information that I have available and with the
health and well being of the competitors being at the forefront we will
reassess the status of this event at 7 am tomorrow morning.  The best
case scenario is a midday start Saturday,  worst case scenario is that
no events will be held Saturday.

At this stage Sunday will proceed as normal and we will work to hold
some of the team events where possible on Sunday.
 
Thank you for your understanding, it has not been an easy decision to
reach and a number of factors have been taken into consideration.

Team Managers will be contacted tomorrow morning via text and email and
the information will be placed on the front page of the web page.
