This is a reminder for all members that want to compete at the above
surf champs that you need to re-enter either by sending your details
through to me by email or confirming your entry at the beach this
Sunday.  For all Ocean Athletes I will be at the Mount on Friday and
Saturday with the necessary forms.  Regardless of whether you completed
a form for the cancelled competion these are now null and void and I
must have confirmation from you that you wish to take part on the 9th.  
Remember NO ENTRY = NO COMPETITION.  There will be no late entries and I
must have your details by Sunday 2 March at 4pm by the latest.

Hi Everyone
 
As you are all aware because of the bad weather over the weekend the
Up&Go Junior Surf District Championship had to be cancelled, however,
Northern Surf have elected to replace the Cath and Eddie Miller Cup with
this event as it will give more children the opportunity to compete
rather than a select few.  This Championship will now be held at Orewa
on Sunday 9th March 2008 with the following events:
 
All Age Groups

*	Board (Boogie Board 7's & 8's) 
*	Swim (Run Wade Run 7's) 
*	Diamond 
*	Sprints 
*	Flags

NB:    If you wish to do the Swim, Board (not boogie board) or Diamond
you must have a 200m badge in order to compete.
 
B & C Groups only

*	Board Relay 
*	Cameron Relay 
*	Mixed Beach Relay

If you want to compete in this Championship you need to either reply by
email to kevin at ecbeng.co.nz indicating your name, age (as at 1 October
2007) and events you wish to compete in or alternatively we will have
forms available on Sunday at the Surf Club for you to fill in.
 
As a requirement for the children to compete we need to provide a
sufficient number of  PARENT HELPERS on the beach and in the water.
Please advise with your Childs entry whether you are able to assist us
on the day.
 
Due to time constraints we need to have these entries completed by no
later than 4.00pm this Sunday 2nd March 2008.  There will be NO LATE
ENTRIES.
