Firstly I would like to congratulate all of you that competed at the Up
& Go District Champs at Orewa. It was a long hot day with a lot of
events, I know alot of you had up to 9 races in the water events. We had
some good results to many to mention. The club ended up 3rd behind Red
beach 1st and Orewa 2nd. It looks like we have a bit of work to do to
overhaul Red Beach and Orewa but we can do it.
I would also like to that the parents that helped out on the beach and
in the water I kow its a long day for you as well with some of you
spending 4-6 hrs in the water
 
This Sunday 10.00-12.00 is the last Sunday of our season. We will be
having a fun day this will consist of IRB rides, obstacle race (kids and
parents) Parent races(skis and boards) and other activities.
If I can have the coaches down at the beach by 9.15am to help set up the
obstacle course this will ensure a 10.00am start.
 
There will be NO Sunday morning session on the weekend of Easter
 
Prize Giving
This will be held on Saturday 29th March 3.00pm at the Surf Club. Keep
this date free.
We will start with some games on the beach followed by a beach dig and
then move up stairs for the prize giving.
I will send out more details just after Easter
